Biography
Yannick Perez was born in 1971 and took his Master's degree and PhD in economics at University La Sorbonne in France. He became assistant professor at University de Cergy (2000-2003) and tenured associate professor of Economics at University Paris-Sud (since 2003). At University, he is the academic coordinator of the European Master Erasmus Mundus in Economics and Management of Network Industries. Since October 2008 he is chief economic advisor of the Loyola de Palacio Chair on European Energy Policy. Since 2009, Yannick Perez is member of the scientific committee of the European Energy Market conference: Leuven (2009) Comillas (2010) Zagreb (2011), Stockholm (2013), Krakow (2014) and Lisbon (2015). Since February 2012, he joined the Armand Peugeot research chair on Electromobility as associated researcher. Over the last 15 years Yannick Perez has published more than 40 articles and book chapter in Energy related topics including contribution in Ecological Economics, Energy Policy, and Renewable and Sustainable Energy Review.
